Terry came by right on time after calling to confirm appointment. Inspected and tested heating system, changed filters and was on his way.
I requested a service call for a tune up on the AC/Heating system to make sure we were good to go for the winter. I wasn't able to be here when they came out, but my sister was. When I came home, it was like 80 degrees in the house and stuffy. I checked the thermostat and it showed the AC was on and the air was blowing, but there was no cold air coming out. I was not happy. The AC was definitely working before they came out and now it wasn't. I called and left a message explaining what the problem was and asked someone to call me in the morning (it was after hours). I was so mad and uncomfortable I had to do something. I went outside and checked the compressor and found it wasn't running. I went to the breaker box and looked, but the breaker was on. I decided to flip it off and then back on, and that did the trick! The compressor came on and I had cold air again. In the morning I was expecting a phone call first thing. I waited till about 9:30 or 10:00 and then called and told them they could disregard my message because I took care of it. They said they would relay that message. No one was concerned about the fact that they did not ensure the system was running as it should before they departed (even though it stated that on the service write up). So, my experience was less than satisfactory.
Kindly greeted me and went directly to work. Visited about our needs after he had inspected the furnace. We discussed how to arrange for the filter to be here for the spring visit or if he could pickup a filter at the Carrier store.

Terry came out on short notice to inspect our heater to make sure it was ready for the winter. He was extremely professional and personable. He also let me know that I had inadvertantly blocked my emergency drain pan when I added insulation to the attic.

We couldn't be more pleased with the way Luke and his team took care of our HVAC replacement. They got here early and powered through the hot day, not leaving until the job was done and our sweltering house was cooling down. Luke happily made two return trips to diagnose and resolve a little wind noise issue from the reengineered ductwork that he designed and installed for us. I suspect that most would have dismissed this as an overly picky complaint, but I know Luke simply viewed it as the right level of customer service. We are grateful for that and highly recommend Luke and the Barbosa team to everyone who wants it done right at a fair price.
